HAK members resign from Yerevan Municipal Council
At today's session of the Yerevan Municipal Council, several members of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) handed in their resignations. Before passing to the agenda issues, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan said Council members Lyudmila Sargsyan, Levon Zurabyan, Stepan Demirtchyan, Hrant Bagratyan and Khachatur Kokobelyan elected by HAK's list had filed resignation applications.
Ruslan Baghdasaryan and Artavazd Sargsyan, members of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) elected to the Council from the Ajapnyak and Davtashen districts of Yerevan, also handed their resignations.
Taron Margaryan said he would forward the copies of resignation letters to the Central Electoral Commission.
