THE FIRST ACTION OF NATO IN ARMENIA
Support A1+!The first action of NATO takes place in Armenia. In June 2002 in the framework of "Cooperation for peace" NATO programme the military exercises will be carried out in Georgia.
And the main preparatory conferance of studies is taking place in Armenia. All the 13 countries - participants of the programme, including Turkey, are taking part in the conferance. The arrival of Azerbaycan representatives was expected but they didn't come for unknown reasons.
Soldiers and officers of the 12-th peacemaking batallion will participate in the exercises. In 2003 such an exercises will be organised in Armenia. Turkey and Azerbaycan will probably also participate.
