ARMENIAN FOOTBALL TEAM BEATEN IN BELGRADE
Support A1+!The Serbian football team beat the Armenian team 3:0 in Belgrade. At present the Serbians lead the fixture table of the 1st group meetings of “Euro – 2008.”
The Armenian football players could withstand the attack of the Serbs only in the first match which ended in a draw. But it was more likely a matter of luck, as the Serbians had significant advantage over the Armenians. During the whole meeting the Armenian team didn’t made any serious attacks on the Serbian goal. Whereas the Serbians scored three goals, thus increasing their points to ten.
After the defeat, our national team is in the seventh place. The next opponent of the Armenian team in the qualifying phase will be the team of Finland. The meeting will be held on November 15. At present the Finns are in the second place.
