The European chess youth championship finished in Montenegro. Of all the 17 representatives of Armenia only 17-year-old Zaven Andreasyan won a medal. He took the second place with 6.5 points in the age group 16-18.

Avetiq Grigoryan took the 8th place in the same group with 6 points. Samvel Ter-Sahakyan took the 6th place with 6.5 points in the age group 12-14.

As for the girls, the best result was shown by 10-year-old Susanna Gaboyan. She took the 7th place with 6.5 points.
