In the quarterfinals of the Australian Open Andre Agassi was defeated and disqualified from the competition.

Agassi lost the quarterfinal match to the first racket of the world, Roger Federer 3:6, 4:6, 4:6. The Swiss was considered the favourite of the match and won the game easily.

In the same quarterfinals tomorrow David Nalbandyan will play with Australian Llewton Hewitt. The chances of the latter are considered a little higher.
