NO PROGRESS FIXED
Support A1+!Ruben Hayrapetyan, Chairman of Football Federation of Armenia has held a press conference today to sum up the results of 2004 tournaments. He stated that no progress had been fixed in championships of Armenia in comparison with 2003 and it is to state that we had a weak championship.
According to Ruben Hayrapetyan, the child’s and youth championships is the way to increase the level of our football. FFA greatly contributes to it.
Mr. Hayrapetyan was discontented with judging: “I assess 2004 refereeing satisfying. The mistakes of referees influenced upon the results of some matches but it didn’t refer to the tournament list”.
Referring to the combined team of Armenia, Ruben Hayrapetyan said that the training with the football players performing in the clubs of Armenia scheduled from January 6 failed. “All our clubs have sent their football players on leave by January 15, so it is impossible to hold the training”, he said.
