WHO BEARS RESPONSIBILITY FOR ARMENIAN SPORTSMEN BAD PERFORMANCE IN OLIMPIC GAMES?

Sports

Today journalists tried to find out who is responsible for Armenian sportsmen’s failure in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

Armenian National Olympic Committee vice-president Michael Ispiryan said inferences will be made after careful analysis and somebody will answer for everything.

Heavy athletics coach Vahan Bichackchyan said the failure was due to lack of money. Ispiryan objected saying there was a necessary amount of money to train sportsmen.

Bichakhchyan noted he earned only a 50-dollar salary as a coach. Head of the National Olympic Committee Ishkhan Zakaryan means these very amounts when insists that the Committee authorities owe no money to coaches and sportsmen.
