Chess World Championship’s quarterfinals are already completed in Tripoli. The only Armenian representative competing at the quarterfinal Vladimir Hakobyan failed to reach the semifinal after being defeated by Michael Adams 0,5 – 1,5.

It was the only but fatal Hakobyan’s defeat.
