UEFA 50TH ANNIVERSARY
Support A1+!A festive measure for the 50th anniversary of UEFA took place in Republican Football School of Malatia. 200 junior football players, representatives of Football Federation of Armenia, club chairs and other guests partook in it.
50 years ago, on June 15, United European Football Association, UEFA was established, which is the 2nd great football structure in the world after FIFA. UEFA has 52 member states. Football Federation of Armenia enrolls in it, too.
Numerous tournaments and championships are held under the auspices of UEFA. Europe 12th Championship for Football is the main tournament, which passes in Portugal now.
FFA Press Secretary Arayik Manukyan, FFA Executive Director Armen Minasyan and UEFA Representative Bruno Volisberg made welcoming speeches during the event in Malatia Football School.
At the conversation with us UEFA Representative stated the measure was well-organized and turned into a real holiday as it is in Europe.
FFA handed Malatia School 100 balls. Armen Minasyan presented the representatives of clubs and sport magazines a book of two-volume edition on the 50th anniversary of UEFA.
