On Wednesday, Armenian Football Federation and the federation referees’ committee discussed FIFA referee Ararat Chagharyan’s conduct during the Armenian Premiership match between Lernagorts Ararat and Pyunik teams, when he replied to fans’ insulting remarks by making return insult.

Behavior of the referee assistant Gegham Vardanyan, who spat at fans at the match, was also strongly condemned.

They both were relieved from duty for certain term.
