Precipitations are more than expected
According to the information of the Armenian State hydro meteorological station Syuniq region Sisian department, in January the precipitations were 4mm more than the norm. 24mm of snow has fallen. In January the average temperature has been 6.2 degrees by Celsius which is 1 degree more than the norm.
The strongest wind recorded has had a speed of 14 meters per second. Winds were stronger especially on the highways. The first month of the year was marked by a thick layer of snow. According to the information of the station, the snow layer has never been so steady for the last five years.
