In 2005 in the «Gavar» region of the «North-Eastern» regional branch of the «ArmWaterPipe-Sewerage» LTD 120 million AMD of debt has been accumulated.

Only 47% of the payments for water has been gathered in the city of Gavar. The lowest percentage of payments has been registered in the villages Karmirgyugh, Noratus and Tsakqar.

The region serves for about 7000 houses, only 4100 of which have installed water-meters. Nevertheless, the majority of them use water illegally.
