Despite recent abundant snow there were no car accidents in local, republican and inter-state streets which are under the guidance of Tumanyan department of roadworthiness inspection, whereas last year 9 accidents were fixed as a result of which 4 citizens died and 14 were injured. 8 out of 9 accidents happened because of drivers' carelessness, and in one case the reason was the ice-covered ground.
BIRTH RATE INCREASING
Up today 17 childbirths were registered in Alaverdi, which is by 7 points more as compared with the previous year. Only on the first day of the year 4 boys were born. As compared with the same period of the year death-rate is decreased. Number of marriages has also increased in the city. More than 10 marriages were registered civilian registrar's office of the city, “Ankyun+3” TV company informs.
