VILLAGES LACK TEACHERS
Support A1+!Due to the optimization programme carried out in the educational sphere it was planned to replenish village schools with specialist teachers, but the problem is not solved up today and village communities still lack teachers.
If during the previous 2 years 69 pedagogues have been sent on mission to villages, this year the index is much lower: only 12 pedagogues are meant to work in village schools. Chief specialist of Department of Education of Shirak Jemma Avetisyan does not deny, that today there's a big army of unemployed teachers, but only few agree to work in suggested conditions.
Mainly pedagogues are needed in village schools, where rate of pay for teaching the given subject is not provided. To regulate the situation, specialists of educational sphere search some ways out. As it was found out as a result of their researches, specialists managing two subjects and able to work in more than one community are needed. We should note, that teachers sent to frontier or border villages are still suggested the same conditions; besides salary they are paid 15 thousands drams more for apartment rent and public utilities.
