THE ARMENIAN SOCIETY CONDEMNING THE TERROR ACT
Support A1+!As yesterday, today citizens, students and pupils have been laying flowers and toys before the Russian Embassy in Yerevan. Tigran Torosyan, Vice-Speaker of Armenian Parliament has visited Embassy of Russia today.
He commented upon the terror act in Beslan, Northern Ossetia, this way: “It’s a new grade of brutality that hadn’t yet reached schools. The moral values have decreased much. It is condemnable”.
According to Torosyan, the relatives of the Armenian children who are the victims of the bloody siege will get material and medical aid.
”Terrorism is a kind of aggression. When many people are dissatisfied with the events in the country, they resort to that action”, Vazgen Vanikyan, member of the scientific board of Russian-Armenian Slavonic State University, said.
Tigran Parsamyan, Chair of students’ board of the same university, said unfortunately the international terrorism has become usual and it has raised the hand on the holy – a mother and a child, and added: “We express our deepest condolences to not only Russia but also the whole world and do hope that this terror act it will be the last”.
Two-day-long mourning was declared in the Russian-Armenian Slavonic State University and the flags of the two countries were dipped in the university.
