NEW HEAD OF DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY STATE VISITING SHIRAK PROVINCE
Support A1+!There are building problems of fire service and civil protection in Shirak Province. Technical equipment of those services is in a sad state, too. During the deliberation in Shirak Provincial Office Edik Barseghyan, head of Department for State of Emergency, stated Government was aware of the problems and willing to allot sums to settle them.
According to Barseghyan, however, the money will hardly be enough to erect a new building, so it is left that the local authorities allow any old construction to the fire service.
The issue of the technical equipment is graver. The fire service hasn’t been equipped for more than 15 years. Department for State of Emergency appealed to Government for this. By words of Barseghyan, at the first opportunity the sums will be allowed to Shirak Province. “We will try to renew the technical equipment every year”.
