AN ARMENIAN WOMAN KILLED IN GERMANY

In January German newspapers informed about Lusine Margaryan strangled in Nuremberg / a citizen of Armenia and a student of Erlangen University/. She disappeared on November 30, 2002. Her corpse was found a month later by chance by a pedestrian walking with his dog .

Lusine Margaryan was 33 years old, married, left for Germany in August. Her mother, Eleonora Kocharyan, cares for her 4-year-old and 6-year-old children now .

Mrs Eleonora says officially she has received only one document over her daughter’s death- from Armenian Interpol . The document says investigation is carried out into Lusine Margaryan’s case. There is no other information .

Eleonora Kocharyan doesn’t manage to get proper information regarding the investigation, the versions possible. An extraordinary accident occurred, an Armenian citizen was barbarously killed in Germany .

Lusine’s mother is not pleased with the steps taken by state. She keeps contacts with Consular Department of Foreign Affairs Ministry but can’t clear up new circumstances.

Yesterday Eleonora Kocharyan made an ordinary attempt to get new information on Lusine’s death. She could transfer a letter to Robert Kocharyan who was in Germany on an official visit in January .

The woman having lost her daughter confesses she will appeal to Mass Media if she is not given a concrete official reply to.
