SEMINAR FOR ARMENIAN PEACEMAKING FORCES
Support A1+!The Armenian battalion will be involved in the peacemaking operations, implemented by UNO. The Institute of International Juridical Studies of USA State Department arranges a 5-day seminar “The Legal Sides of Peacemaking Operations” for the officers of the peacemaking battalion that is being newly formed in Armenia.
The representatives of Armed Forces of Armenian Defence Ministry will hold discussions over the following subjects:
Control and managing of peacemaking operations
Rules of getting involved in the battle, policy for how to use power
National policy of peacemaking operations
Human rights and UNO’ peacemaking operations
Non-lethal weapon
Relations with Mass Media when peacemaking operations etc
According to the organisers, the seminar aims to support improvement of juridical knowledge of the officers of Armenian peacemaking battalion .
