PRO-GOVERNMENTAL JOURNALISTS LEARNING ESSENTIAL JOURNALISM

Social

Prominent British journalist Lord William Frencis Didz is now in Armenia. He has been editing Conservators’ “Daily Telegraph” newspaper for about 10 years and has been a member of the British Cabinet since 1955.

Lord Didz was a guest of Caucasus Mass Media Institute. Talking to pro-governmental TV companies’ correspondents he said journalist must be unbiased. The pro-governmental ones wrote his words down.

The guest also said journalist couldn’t be unbiased without putting his life at risk. Government-leaning journalists continued to write.

Government-backing journalists kept listening to him and writing his thoughts sometimes even taking a look at him.
