Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Brazil to Armenia Agemar de Mendonça Sanctos thanked the participants of the concert, saying that it was a great pleasure to host Debora Waldman and somewhere to present the Brazilian culture to the Armenian audience. Conductor Debora Waldman, who was an assistant to the legendary German conductor Kurt Mazur, was in Armenia for the first time. "My most favorite composers are Mozart and Maler. And the works of these two composers were included in the concert in Yerevan. In general, there is a unique energy in Armenia. I enjoy working with Armenian musicians, we understand each other very well. Armenian musicians are very open and warm people, and they perceive everything very quickly," says Debora Waldman. To add, Debora Waldman was born in São Paulo, Brazil. Then she and her family moved to Israel where she lived until the age of 14. Then, she moved to Buenos Aires, where she studied at Universidad Católica Argentina.
