ZAZ's rehearsal in Republic Square (video)
ZAZ the French singer, who is able to combine jazz with French soul and acoustic genres, was singing in the Republic Square. ZAZ is the pseudonym of the singer. Very few people remember that her real name is Isabelle Geffroy. ZAZ has arrived in Armenia at night and has to perform at the evening concert for the Francophonie summit.
At noon, the Republic Square was not crowded. But when she started to rehearse, most passers-by stopped to listen. ZAZ performed only a few songs, but did not disclose what songs would be in the list of the evening concert.
When ZAZ returned to the hotel after the rehearsal, "A1 +" tried to ask a few questions to the singer. The latter said she did not give an interview, but she is ready to gave an autograph. One accompanying person informed that meeting with journalist is not scheduled during this visit.
According to our information, "Pernod Ricard Armenia" company planed to organize a closed concert, which would be also attended by Charles Aznavour and ZAZ, but it was canceled after the death of the chansonnier.
