Person sentenced to life imprisonment does not received necessary medical aid
As a result of the Ombudsman's decision, person sentenced to life imprisonment has received the necessary medical aid A person sentenced to life imprisonment has applied to the Human Rights Defender for receiving dental care at his own expense. The citizen refused to receive the appropriate assistance in the penitentiary institution because of the lack of available technical means. Taking into account the citizen's appeal and the explanations, the Defender has made a decision and suggested the RA Minister of Justice to ensure the right of a person sentenced to life imprisonment. As a result, a person sentenced to life imprisonment went to his preferred dentist and received appropriate medical care, by a decision of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia .
