Manvel Grigoryan arrested for two months
The preventive measure of arrest will be applied against Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction MP Manvel Grigoryan. The decision was made by Court of General Jurisdiction of First Instance of Avan and Nor-Nork Administrative Districts. Grigoryan is charged with illegal possession of firearms and ammunition as well as embezzlement on a massive scale. Grigoryan was detained a day earlier, and within the framework of the criminal case that was filed into the finding of illegal weapons and ammunition in his summer residence. Subsequently, he was charged with embezzlement too.
