New national team created in Armenia
The first Armenian Wrestling Championships were held in Spitak, Armenia, the official website of the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs reports. About 80 sportsmen from Yerevan, Armenian regions and Republic of Artsakh participated in the tournament. Armenian weightlifter Suren Melkonyan (55 kg), Artur Manukyan (60 kg), Artyom Ghazaryan (66 kg), Samvel Sargsyan (73 kg), David Grigoryan (81 kg), Edik Petrosyan (90 kg) Mikayel Shahnazaryan (100 kg) and Arman Manukyan (+100 kg) have become champions. The Armenian national team formed by the results of the championship will represent our country in the CIS national sports festival this year.
