At the NA four-day session today, Edmon Marukyan, a member of the Yelk (Way out) faction, addressed Elizavetta Danielyan, candidacy of a vacant place of the CC member of the general assembly of judges. "You say that the passions have become calm and the people are free from the imprisonment. What kind of the passions have become calm that the courts have began to work well, or what kind of the passions were there in the past? The MPs just want to understand, due to what you have become noticeable. Why should we choose you? What is your principality and what special opinion do you have?" "Of course, my words were not clear. I mean, there were given the opportunity to the judges to be free from fraud, responded Elizavetta Danielyan and continued, "When it comes to my personality as a judge, I cannot say anything, my candidacy has been just discussed, and the Judicial Council has found it suitable." Edmon Marukyan responded by saying, "You just had to say that the courts have begun working well because of the post-revolutionary situation. We must also take into account that there have been unnecessary reprimands and penalties against attorneys." Edmon Marukyan, in his speech, said that under these circumstances they would hardly vote for the candidacy of the CC, but they will still discuss it. In her final speech, Elizavetta Danielyan thanked NA Speaker Ara Babloyan, who satisfied her request to meet with all the factions and hear their opinion. Discussion of CC candidate ends.
