Armenia to participate in European Judo Championships

The European Judo Championship 2018 will be held in Tel Aviv, Israel, on April 26-28. 368 athletes from 44 countries will compete for 14 medals in these three days.

Three judoists from Armenia will compete in this tournament. According to the results of the draw, Ferdinand Karapetyan (73kg) will meet with the representative of Lithuania in the 1/16 finals. Arsen Ghazaryan will compete with Slovenia representative, and Vardan Khachatryan (81 kg) will compete with Italy’s representative in the first round. Our athletes will leave for tomorrow, on April 27.
