Arman Tatoyan visits Levon Barseghyan
Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan visited Levon Barseghyan, Head of the Asparez Journalists' Club, which is in the Nubarashen penitentiary of the RA Ministry of Justice. The Defender had a private meeting with him. With the support of the Defender, Levon Barseghyan was taken to the cell with the necessary conditions. He was provided with the necessary hygiene supplies, radio receivers, and so on. The Ombudsman's Office has initiated a discussion procedure to take steps to ensure Levon Barseghyan's rights in the full scope of powers envisaged by law. With regard to all issues raised during a private talk, including grounds for deprivation of liberty, a note will be sent to the criminal prosecution authorities.
