Demonstrators detained in French Square (video)
15.00 Shortly before the demonstrators tried to close Mashtots Avenue, the police immediately restored the traffic and arrested some of the demonstrators. The demonstrators gathered at French Square decided to march toward the Yerevan City Hall, but a group of demonstrators still remains there. And the police ran towards their cars. Earlier, demonstrators in French Square pulled off Mashtots-Tumanyan intersection and tried to shut the traffic down, but the police did not let them do that. As a result, citizens were again detained and the others returned to French Square.
