Member of the Yelk faction Artak Zeynalyan addressed a number of questions to Serzh Sargsyan during a special session of the National Assembly today. "My questions are not of personal nature and do not pursue hatred or enmity. Anonymous surveys show that this National Assembly has been formed through election bribery. How do you imagine mthe people to believe in elections? And the rebellion that exists now is due to that. What should be done to create an atmosphere of solidarity? The other question is whether persecutions, based on the difference of political views, have taken place, and as a result, is there dismissal or punishment unforeseen by law? Have you influenced on detention decisions? In 95 per cent of the cases, prosecutors or investigators win cases, whereas Armenia always loses those cases in the European Court. Did you sign the decision accprding to which, the Government's scountry house is delivered to you? With regard to justice, 350,000 drivers are required to pay a fine of 2 million drams annually. " "Mr. Zeynalyan, let me answer your qestion with a question: will I be able to answer your six questions in the given period? Now I will answer the questions shortly. I disagree with the statement that the elections took place due to buying votes. The grounds of what i am saying are the international papers where it is mentioned that the expression of the nation's will took place. If bribe was widespread distributed, I think that everything could be shot, and the opposition would have floww the internet with such videos. I do not exclude charity, but i do not think that it would influence on the results of elections. We also found technical facilities due to which we excluded the myths of dead people voting. No one has ever been persecuted due to his/her political views. And the attitude of courts has been mild towards them even when they committed a crime. We have slightly deviated from the European standarts in preliminary detention but in this case our conditions should be taken into account." As for the country house then the law on that house was adopted in this building. By the way, the last two presidents also took advantage of that law. I have taken advantage of it , too. If it does not belong to me by law, then I will return it. It is my property in Yerevan." Artak Zeynalyan responded, "Under the password "baze" bribe was distributed.
