Policemen grab citizen's throat
On April 17, at about 9:30, Arman Gharibyan and a group of activists closed the Sayat-Nova-Abovyan intersection, sitting on the pedestrian crossing. According to Arman, a policemen, under lieutenant colonel Hovhannisyan's orders, attacked him without any warning, grab his throat and arms. One of the policemen, with his fingers and nails, scratched Gharibyan's right arm. Arman says he did not resist the policemen in any way, did not curse, insult, only asked the reason for being caught by his throat and for being scratched, especially when they were already on the pavement and the street was open. According to Arman Gharibyan, the policeman continued to keep the nails in his arm for a few moments when he was already on the pavement. Arman Gharibyan did not resist even then.
