Arsen Artsruni, who was sentenced to life imprisonment on Dro's case, was rejectes by the Appeals Court as well. The Court left the decision of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Shirak region unchanged, according to which, Arsen Artsruni's early release or his replacement to a more mild sentence for the unserved portion of the sentence were rejected. Advocate Narine Rshtuni was expecting to hear such a decision. "If the decision were positive, the way we wanted and Arsen Artsruni were released we would have finally have that precedant. Probably our justice, if we can call it so in this case, unfortunately is not ready for that yet." People sentenced to life imprisonment could also be appeal to the President. In these years, however, no petition for pardon has been approved. After the constitutional amendments, the Prime Minister will pardon the dead. "We do not know who will be the Prime Minister, what will change. In any case, our ex-president had an opportunity to pardon, but as you see, the pardon was not granted. We hope that the new Prime Minister will go to that fair step on his appointment," the advocate said. Arsen Artsruni who is sentenced to life imprisonment has health problems. He is currently receiving treatment. "The treatment must last for one month after which, as doctors informed, it will be decided how urgent the operation is" the advocate added.

Narine Rshtuni also reminded that Arsen Artsruni had not been found guilty for killing but for ordering it. He did not kill anyone.
