I urge the Middle East Armenians to move - historian (video)

Politics
Gevorg-Yazjyan

Today, historian and publicist Gevorg Yazijian stated at a news conference that Armenians in the Middle East have no perspective and will always be in danger. "I cannot say what is expected because dynamic and illogical developments are taking place. I urge not only Syrian Armenians, but also other Armenians in Middle East, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon, which seem to be relatively safe, to move gradually because they have no prospect in those countries." The historian notes that Armenians will always be in danger of religious discrimination. According to him, only work keeps Armenians in these countries. Gevorg Yazicjian believes that the people of Armenian communities should leave those countries without listening to their leaders' fake calls. "They say, we have to stay here, we have churches, we created some structures. For whom did we create them? We must understand that no matter where we live, even if we are citizens, these countries are not our homeland and they cannot be."
