Lyubov Nikolaya: The problem of overcoming tuberculosis is the problem of migrating

Tuberculosis is most commonly found in patients. Katarina Gyulbayazyan, head of the stationary department of "Antituberculous Dispensary" CJSC said at the press conference today. The disease can be both in the lungs and in the extracellular organs; it can be both open and closed. The first is danger to the environment, and the second is not. According to experts, physicians often prescribe treatment without carrying out thorough examination, whereas later it turns out that the patient has tuberculosis. Typical features of the disease include bleeding, coughing, digestion, autoimmune symptoms, night sweat, headache, and so on. The treatment may last from 6 months to 1 year and is free of charge. "The problem of overcoming tuberculosis is the problem of migrating," said Lyubov Nikolaya, PhD consultant on Scientific Adviser to the National Center for Tuberculosis. "People often go abroad for work, leaving the treatment halfway and the disease gets worse." The specialist said that according to the data of 2017, about 23 out of each 100000 people had tuberculosis and one person out of 100000 died in the country. According to the data of 2017, 691 patients have been identified. The disease can be cured thoroughly. In order to avoid infection it is necessary to maintain the basic hygiene norms: stay in a considerable distance from the interlocutor, close your mouth while coughing or sneezing, etc.
