Manchester United has confirmed on its official website that the contract with Zlatan Ibrahimovićis broken at the player's request.
"MU" thanked the player for contributing to the team's achievements and wished him success in his future career.
In his turn, Zlatan Ibrahimović wrote on Twitter "Great things also come to an end and it is time to move on after two fantastic seasons with Manchester United. Thank you to the club, the fans, the team, the coach, the staff and everybody who shared with me this part of my history. #foreverred."
Ibrahimović is expected to join the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Mkhitaryan wrote on Facebook the following:
