Government approves ratification of EU-Armenia agreement (video)

Armenian government adopted the EU decision on ratification of agreement Armenian. Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan presented the draft decision of the Foreign Ministry at today's session of the Government. "This framework agreement is important because it raises the level of relations between Armenia and the EU and is aimed at resolving them in the coming years," Shavarsh kochayan said. Kocharyan also reminded that the Agreement "On comprehensive and enhanced partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community and Member States, on the other hand", was signed on 24 November 2017. The agreement, as mentioned by Shavarsh Kocharyan, would come into force only after the last member state of the EU declared that it had completed national processes. At the moment, only Estonia has made such a statement.
