Suicide attempt prevented
On March 22, at 03:56 am, an alarm was received that a citizen was trying to commit suicide by jumping from Haghtanak Bridge in Yerevan. Rescuers help was needed. A crew of rescuers left for the scene. It turned out that A. E., born in 1980, (under the influence of alcohol) poured gasoline on himself, crossed the dangerous border of the bridge and threatened to fall down. The police and rescuers removed A. E. from the dangerous part of the bridge. The citizen was taken to the central department of the Yerevan city police department.
