Majority of citizens do not recognize Armen Sarkissian (video)
The Republican Party (RPA) nominated the fourth presidential candidate of Armenia. He is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Armen Sarkissian, who was also Prime Minister from December 1996 to February 1997. The views about Armen Sarkissian on the Internet are different; most people characterize him as a rich, clever and experienced person. But do not forget to mention that the name of Amoulsar is controversial with his name. Armenian parliament will elect Armenian president in early March. The president must receive at least 79 votes. The Republican Party together with Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) has 65 MPs. The Yelk (Way out) faction has already presented Artak Zeynalyan as its only candidate. In other words, the Republicans will expect support from the Tsarukyan faction. The latter. however, has not yet expressed the opinion about Armen Sarkissian.
