Statistics on deaths recorded in penitentiary institutions
For the first time in recent years, the lowest death rate was recorded among detainees and convicts kept in penitentiary institutions for 2017. So, if in 2010, 37 deaths were registered and in 2014, 38 deaths were registered, this figure was 17 for 2017.
