Gevorg Petrosyan, MP of Tsarukyan Allience, is irritated by the statement given by Levon Altunyan, Health Minister, to Azatutyun Radio, saying that according to a survey 25% of Armenian girls over 15 have sexual intercourse experience. The Minister should prove if the survey was real. "I exclude such results, according to which 25% of Armenian girls over 15 have sexual intercourse experience." The MP suggests that the Minister's statement is based on the Papilloma virus, a propagation of a vaccine called Gardassil, which girls on the verge of sexual maturation are inoculated. "If they have a plan and want to realize it then they should find another way, instead of insulting our national dignity, insulting future mothers." The former Minister of Labor and Social Security, who has a daughter, does not exclude that perhaps 7 percent have had the experience, but 25 percent means that this refers to every fourth girl who is over 15. "I do not say that there is not any 15-year-old Armenian girl who has sexual intercourse experience. But it does not mean that 25 percent of girls over 15 have such an immoral..." Levon Altunyan, according to the lawyer MP, actually shows that the Armenian law-enforcement system is ineffective because sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 15 is a criminal offense, even if it occurred in a bilateral agreement. "If sexual intercourse takes place with a 14-year-old girl or boy, the person must be brought to responsibility, even if it occurred in a bilateral agreement which does not matter."  Gevorg Petrosyan rebels against this statement as a parent and a deputy. Even if he did not have a daughter, Levon Altunyan should be responsible as a political official. "It is a statement on crime."
