Jonathan Lacôte, the new French Ambassador to Armenia, is surprised by the fact that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflicts is very deep issue for the Armenian society. At a press conference at the National Press Club, Jonathan Lacôte said he is aware of the fact that since 2017, 57 soldiers have been killed on the border. Jonathan Lacôte said: "This is a real conflict that has a considerable bearing on the Armenian society, the government of Armenia, and the state of Armenia. This conflict concerns us, too." The ambassador reaffirmed the news that Emmanuel Macron, President of France, will visit France in 2018.
