Hrant Melkumyan fails to win Uzbek grandmaster
The 6th round of the Chess Classic FIDE Open chess tournament was held in London. Our chess player Hrant Melkumyan, who has scored five consecutive victories, drew level with Uzbek grandmaster Jakhongir Vakhidov. Both the grandmasters have 5.5 points and share the 1st-3rd places. In the 7th round, today, our chess player will meet with English grandmaster. Our other chess player, Gabriel Sargsyan, could not gain the opportunity to continue the next round, as he drew level with German Grandmaster Alexander Donchenko and scored 4,5 points. He is currently sharing the 15th-31th places. Today Gabriel Sargsyan will try to beat Indian master.
