RA Foreign Minister receives BSEC Secretary General

On December 4, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Michael Christidis, Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC). Welcoming the guest, Edward Nalbandian mentioned that Armenia attached importance to regional economic integration processes and, guided by this principle, actively participated in multilateral cooperation within the BSEC framework. Expressing gratitude for the reception, Secretary General Christidis expressed gratification at Armenia's active involvement in the BSEC framework. The interlocutors spoke about the upcoming presidency of Armenia in the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization and its priorities. Edward Nalbandian and Michael Christidis discussed issues related to the primary directions of cooperation within BSEC and the organization's reforms. Minister Nalbandian mentioned that some attempts to counterbalance the organization's rules and regulations within the framework of the BSEC Parliamentary Assembly were harmful and stroke the authority of the structure.
