GM Hrant Melkumyan tops London tournament

GM Hrant Melkumyan has successfully started the London Chess Classic FIDE OPEN international chess tournament. In the 2-3 rd rounds, he defeated Norwegian Olaf Risting and Mark Hebden from England, scoring 3 points. Today, during the fourth round, Hrant Melkumyan will  play with black figures against one of his main opponents - Swedish GM John Hector. Another chess player, Gabriel Sargsyan, defeated Indian Shah Fenil in the second round, but played a draw against American John Bartolome in the third round. His next opponent is the Spanish master Paolo Pinto Ladron De Guevara, who is in the 43rd place in the tournament.
