Clergymen also to take part in the chess tournament of King Abgar
On December 5, the chess tournament for the 5th time will be held at the Primate of the Araratian Patriarchal Diocese. "This year, the tournament will be attended by representatives of dioceses of different regions, the army, police academy, as well as representatives of other organizations, etc. It was titled "King's Day with royal game," because the tournament is dedicated to King Abgar, who was the first Armenian king," said Senior Pastor of St. Sargis Church Levon Ter-Petros Malyan. The tournament will be held in two rounds. First, 60 participants will be divided into pairs and compete with each other. The winners will then play simultaneously with our two Grandmasters, current champion of Armenia Hovhannes Gabuzyan and former world champion Zaven Andreasyan.
