Serzh Sargsyan to visit Russia

On November 15, Serzh Sargsyan will have a working visit to Russian Federation at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin will discuss the agenda of the Armenian-Russian relations and the issues of further development of bilateral interstate ties. They will also touch upon cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and regional issues.

Presidents will take part in the official opening ceremony of the “Days of Armenian Culture in Russia” at the Tretyakov Gallery of Moscow, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Russia, and the 20th anniversary of signing of the conract of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.

Armenian President will also visit Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Russia and New Nakhijevan Diocese and the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral, which will host an “The Biblical Country Armenia” exhibition dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Armenian Diocese opened within the framework of “Days of Armenian Culture in Russia.”
