Armenian sportsmen win two gold, one silver and two bronze medals
Grigor Mkhitaryan, a representative of Armenia at the World Sambo Championships in Sochi, won a gold medal. Mkhitaryan won the Kyrgyz wrestler Mohammed Ergashev in the 52kg weight class. Vachik Vardanyan (68 kg) became world vice-champion in the final, yielding to Danil Vevodin, a representative of Russia. Earlier Tigran Kirakosyan (52 kg) became world champion, while Maxim Manukyan (57 kg) and Arsen Khanjian (100 kg) won the bronze medals, the RA National Olympic Committee reports.
