Continuing protest actions in Yerevan against the curtailment of university deregistration under the new draft law on the Military Service and Servicemen's Status, and attempts to limit the freedom of expression of the teaching staff towards this process, have again raised the issue of the dependence of academic institutions. Is it possible for a higher education institution to have a quality educational environment where not only students but also lecturers are forbidden to express their own opinions? Problems are numerous, and in parallel to the reduction of budgetary allocations to education every year, the educational institutions face the most serious problem of providing quality education. Taking into consideration the recent developments, it has become imperative to bring the issue of the necessity to change the order of formation of universality liberty and total politicism, academic freedoms and advice on the agenda, to discuss and raise issues on EDUCATIONAL CRISIS.
