Armenia - Belarus, 4: 1. Victory that causes concern
The Armenian national football team won the Belarus national team (4: 1 ). It was the first victory of our team after the 2018 World Cup qualifying round. But this game also caused a concern as well. The "Republican" stadium was simply empty. The fans were in small groups behind the gates. Only the West part of the stadium was more or less filled with football fans, but they could hardly be 500-700. This indifference of the fans is understandable. Firstly, the match was friendly, secondly, the opponent was not a team with a high quality, thirdly, the disappointment of fans from our team's weak appearances. The worrying thing is that next year Armenia will play in the new tournament in the League of Europe, where our opponents will be either Belarus or lower-level teams. It means bringing fans to the stadium will be a serious problem that at these meetings. The only stimulus is our team's victories. If they are not in the League of Nations, then the Republican stands will remain empty.
