Levon Aronyan leaves Azeri Mammadyarov behind
The organizers of the European Chess Men's and Women's Championship in Greece summed up the final results of the tournament. Our chess player Levon Aronian has scored 4.5 points out of 7, and is ahead of the Azerbaijani Shakhriyar Mammadyarov (64.3) in the men's chess tournament. He was awarded a gold medal. The other chess player of our team, Gabriel Sargsyan, was awarded a silver medal for the result displayed on the third board. He has scored 6.5 points out of 9.
