The Minister of Health is dissatisfied with the next year's budget. In 2018 it will be 81 billion drams. However, this does not hinder the Ministry from allocating and conducting reforms. A center will be found which will not only collect complaints but also make calls to clarify the public opinion on a particular issue such as the existence of corruption in the sphere. Today, with pure emotions, I can say that, of course, the shadow of corruption in Armenia is less than can imagine by listening to the rumors. I think that rumors are more than the phenomena," said Levon Altunyan, the RA Minister of Health. The Health Inspectorate will be resumed in 2018, which stopped working three years ago. The Minister said that at that time it was in the stage of establishment and would start functioning from January to February of the next year. "Which will boost the fact that those phenomena that are spoken among people, will receive their objective reflection: whether they exist or not." Recently the cases of attacking doctors have increased. The new law will allow doctors to have professional protection. "Violence in public does not take into account professionalism, gender, age, and some percentage of violence is always there." In the sphere of health care, Levon Altunyan did not plan staff reduction, but increase of productivity. He said that there were 600-700 free doctor vacancies in Armenia, while there were doctors who were not too overload , and sometimes even not overload at all. "Sometimes, if you want to visit a doctor at work, you have to go till 12 am because he works till then. Our task is to rearrange our forces and resources so that we have a 70-80% load on each of the working units." To ensure free medical care for the whole population of the Republic of Armenia, the Minister of Health calculated and found that the ideal budget of their sector should be AMD 280 billion.
